I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and have lived in three continents. At the age of five I began to experience continuous uprooting. This uprooting, while at times unsettling, offered the opportunity to learn and experience other cultures and languages. I developed capacity to see the world through a wider lense. I firmly believe that these experiences also fomented my love for performing and visual arts.

Nací en Caracas, Venezuela y he vivido en tres continentes. A los cinco años comencé a vivir un continuo desarraigo. Este desarraigo, aunque a veces perturbador, ofreció la oportunidad de aprender otros idiomas y vivir en otras culturas. Desarrollé la capacidad de ver el mundo a través de un lente más amplio. Creo firmemente que estas experiencias también fomentaron mi amor por las artes escénicas y visuales.
After a few years of being back home (Caracas), I moved to Texas. I have established roots in Austin,Texas where I have nurtured a family and built a home. I am a mother to two creative, lively and passionate humans that push me to perpetually expand and evolve.

Después de unos años de estar de regreso en casa (Caracas), me mudé a Texas. He establecido raíces en Austin, Texas, donde he criado una familia y construido un hogar. Soy la madre de dos seres humanos creativos, vivaces y apasionados que me empujan a expandirme y evolucionar perpetuamente.

I am a loyal Longhorn and married one. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and have close to 20 years experience providing therapeutic services. After being in private practice for fifteen years, I completed supervisor training in the Fall of 2024. I am eager to collaborate, explore and discover with Social Work clinicians following their calling as therapists.

Soy leal a los Longhorns y me case con uno. Obtuve una Licenciatura en Psicología y una Maestría en Ciencias en Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Texas en Austin y tengo cerca de 20 años de experiencia brindando servicios terapéuticos. Después de ejercer en la práctica privada por quince años, completé la formación de supervisor en el otoño de 2024. Estoy emocionada por colaborar, explorar y descubrir con Trabajadores Social siguiendo su vocación como terapeutas.
While in graduate school I was employed at Any Baby Can where I served children and families for more than seven years. Following my formative years at Any Baby Can, I was a therapist for Austin Travis County Integral Care. Through my work with these two agencies, I had the opportunity to treat children and adults. Many of my clients experienced trauma and abuse. I have worked extensively with families suffering with grief and loss, as well as parents of children with disabilities. I have significant training in Infant Mental Health and contracted with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to foster family reunification.

Mientras terminaba el posgrado, trabajé en Any Baby Can, donde atendí a niños y familias durante más de siete años. Después de mis años de formación en Any Baby Can, fui terapeuta en Austin Travis County Integral Care. Gracias a mi trabajo con estas dos agencias, tuve la oportunidad de tratar a niños y adultos. Muchos de mis clientes tuvieron la experiencia de trauma y abuso. He trabajado extensamente con familias que sufren duelo y pérdida, así como con padres de niños con discapacidades. Tengo una formación importante en salud mental infantil y tuve un contrato con el Departamento de Servicios Familiares y de Protección de Texas para fomentar la reunificación familiar.

As an immigrant or foreigner, I am familiar with the experience of being "other". I am drawn to working with clients that have a complex relationship with individuation and belonging.

I strive to provide a safe environment for clients to become in touch with their agency, while experiencing the challenges of being human. I use a combination of approaches to best meet the needs of clients. These approaches include Parent-Infant Psychotherapy, Theraplay, TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) , NARM ( Neuro-Affective Relational Model) which is a model designed to treat the effects of Complex Trauma, and IPNB (Interpersonal Neurobiology - seeing how the brain, body, and relationships all work together)

Me esfuerzo por brindar un entorno seguro para que los clientes entren en contacto con su agencia, mientras experimentan los desafíos de ser humano. Utilizo una combinación de enfoques para satisfacer mejor las necesidades de los clientes. Estos enfoques incluyen psicoterapia entre padres e hijos, Theraplay, TBRI (intervención relacional basada en la confianza) y NARM (modelo relacional neuroafectivo), que es un modelo diseñado para tratar los efectos del trauma complejo, y IPNB (Neurobiología interpersonal: ver cómo el cerebro, el cuerpo y las relaciones funcionan juntos)
